Americas:

Colombia:

1. Pray for the recording of the Cacua New Testament scheduled for February, that the Lord would prepare the Cacuas' hearts so that they can receive the vision of FCBH.

2. Pray for the Waunaan people group with whom we'll be doing a recording next year. The church is active there, and we pray that the Lord will use the pastors and leaders who will participate in the recording to impact their community.

3. Pray for the Inga community, where we have recorded the NT. There are few believers, but the Lord has opened doors for us with two people who participated in the recording. They've expressed their interest in knowing more about the Word, since they were greatly impacted by the recording process. They have received training with plans to establish FCBH with the Inga. Pray that the Lord will continue changing and using these two people.

4. Pray that the Camsa community will be able to resolve the problems that divide it and are preventing FCBH workers from doing a recording there. Pray that the Lord would give
us wisdom on how to intervene and develop strategies to do this recording in the future.

Peru: Please pray for Wilmer Mayo, one of our FCBH colporteurs for the Quechua Huamalies project. His mother has been diagnosed with a brain hemorrhage. Pray for healing and peace for the family.

Suriname: The Javanese recording premasters are in Albuquerque. Please continue to pray for the Sranantongo recording and that the equipment will be ready.

Prayer Requests for the Americas

Colombia: Please continue to pray for the on-going Camsa recording project. Please pray that the hearts of the Inga and Wayuu people will be ready to receive the FCBH program in their own heart languages. Also, pray for the preliminary research of possible recordings in Woun Meu, Cacua, Epena, and Cuiba.

Chile: Daniel San Martin, FCBH Mapudungun Promoter for Chile, requests prayer for the Mapuches. The government has started a program among them that essentially eliminates any religion but their traditional one (not Christian). Despite this, Daniel says he's continuing on. Please pray for his protection and wisdom.

Mexico: Thank you for your prayers for Antonio and the Huasteco recording. Despite the numerous challenges, the voice recording was completed and the team is back home doing the mixing and editing.

Peru: Rogerio Garcia asks for prayer as he travels to Peru and Bolivia. His agenda has some important items including the Ayuacucho Project, ABS visit, meetings with Peruvian Bible Society, the Bolivian Bible Society, Campus Crusade in Bolivia, and Runa Simi in Peru.

Suriname: The wife of Johan Josafath of the FCBH recording team recently birthed a baby girl, Luviene Evonora, in emergency surgery. Although the baby was delivered early, both mother and child are doing well. Please pray for their continued health and healing.

1500 Ayacucho Audio New Testaments soon to be Distributed!

Peru: Please continue to keep Rogerio Garcia in prayer as plans to distribute 1500 Ayacucho Audio New Testaments in the next two years are implemented. Pray for traveling mercies.

The Recording of the Huasteco Language is Nearing End!

Mexico: Please continue to pray for Antonio Alvarez and the team as they finish the recording of the Huasteco language. Progress has slowed due to some computer problems and a lack of readers. Please pray for perseverance and patience for the recording team, the proofreaders and the readers as we complete the final 30% of this recording.

Pray for Text To Be Prepared -

Guatemala: Please continue to pray for Carol Barrera, the translator of the Achi New Testament, and her coworkers as they work through all the parallel passages in the New Testament, checking for consistency. This needs to be done before Viña can begin preparing the text for the recording. Viña would like to begin recording late October, early November. Pray that they would make very good progress and finish this month.

Please continue to lift Abdiel Lopez, FCBH Regional Coordinator for Latin America, and his family in prayer. Their house burned down in September, and they are currently in temporary housing through the end of November.

Their praises and prayer requests are these:
1) Praise God that the family is doing well emotionally. Although they are sad about the loss of personal belongings, the children's school and the local community have come forward with some material assistance, like schoolbooks and supplies. Praise and thanks for friends in the U.S. who have sent donations.

2) Pray for favor with the owner of the house, so that she will consider the family's situation and deal compassionately with them as they endeavor to pay for the loss of the house. (Rental and homeowner's insurance as we know it in the U.S. is not widely available in Guatemala.)

3) Pray for these immediate needs: clothing, shoes, kitchen utensils, beds and other household items.

4) Pray for patience, encouragement and understanding for his wife and children as their loss is slowly restored, with God's help.

5) Pray for continued blessings on the church that he pastors.

AudioBibles reach the poor and illiterate of the world!

AudioBibles are made available to all language groups in the world!
GOD said
, bring His Church together and make disciples.

HE said, we are to be committed to putting every translation of the Bible in audio form, and to implement Faith Comes By Hearing in every church or village in the world, so that all people, especially the 50% of the world who cannot read, can hear God's Word in the language they pray in.

Psa 70:5 But I [am] poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou [art] my help and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
